Baby boy seemed so small even though he weigh 0.3kg heavier than baby girl when she was a newborn. See the power of post-natal amnesia? I can't even remember ah ger looking that tiny! Anyway he looked exactly like his dad, who was trying hard to feed him when we arrived. Despite all the hard work, he looked as happy as a spider who caught tons of insects in its web. Ok weird analogy but you get the point.
Unfortunately halfway through it all, baby J started crying to be fed. Something about seeing her pal drinking from a bottle ignited the hungry in her and I had no choice but to draw the curtains of one of the spare beds and feed her. I guess she drank too quickly because just 5 minutes after feeding she vomitted everything onto the floor! I don't know if its a mix of hospital smells and gulping of milk without burping that led to this but we spent the next 15 minutes trying to clean up. Which sucks because the visit should be about the new parents and their baby. Felt so bad. This was not what I was expecting. Sigh.
I guess we'll visit them again at their home and we'll catch up more then. In the meantime, I'll just have to remember to feed her before we go to a hospital to visit.
