I've recently been invited to attend the Raise a Little Thinker: The Smart Parenting Congress 2011 organised by Mediacorp and presented by Abbott Nutrition.

As parents play an important role in early development, this seminar aims to teach parents new methods that support the learning skills and contribute to early literacy of their children. Janet Doman, who is a leading expert in brain development techniques for children and key speaker at this seminar, will be sharing tips and techniques on how parents can develop their young children intellectually, physically and socially at home.

She is also joined by pediatricians Dr Phuah Huan Kee (Mount Elizabeth Hospital) and Dr Nancy Tan (Gleneagles Hospital) as well as celebrity mums Petrina Kow and May Phua, who will be sharing more information on the importance of nutrition in children's physical and mental development.
