The movie is an ensemble romantic comedy that follows a mother and her 3 grown daughters as they juggle their assorted love lives. The women are successful in everything except for love. That is, until they unexpectedly encounter new romances in Beijing, Sydney and even on the moon!
The star-studded cast includes Aaron Kwok (郭富城), Rene Liu (刘若英), Eason Chan (陈奕迅), Angelababy, Gwei Lun Mei (桂纶镁), Jing Boran (井柏然) and with guest appearances by Xu Fan (徐帆).

The hubby and I were very excited as it is not often that we get to watch a movie ever since our baby girl came along.
Love in Space @ The Grand Cathay |
We took our seats, bought our popcorn and watched.
It was sappy. It was lovey-dovey (as expected). But it was also surprisingly funny. And very heart-warming. In all 3 love stories, the guy and girl are totally different and yet they try to make things work between them. I loved the cinematic techniques, especially in the portrayal of the astronauts' love story.
This is definitely a great movie for the die-hard hopeless romantics (such as myself.. I know, I know, I don't look like it at all), lovey-dovey couples (newly attached/newly-weds/engaged to be married/etc) and especially married parents who are out on a special date night.
Totally loved this rom-com! =)
You should catch 'Love in Space' when it opens in cinemas on 8th September 2011!
