Penang Day 3: Departure & My Reflections

It's the final day of our short trip and I can't believe how fast time flies!

Kids having breakfast at Garden Cafe
Tried the kway teow soup & various pastries
The laksa looks similar to ours but tastes somewhat different

We had one last swim in the pool after breakfast as the girl just couldn't get enough of the slide. She was genuinely sad to leave! :P

Last swim in one of our favourite pools so far

I'm so going to miss our suite, the open balcony and lovely views every morning!

Beautiful scenery =)

One of my favourite shots of us as a family!

It was finally time for us to check out of our wonderful hotel suite (*boo*) and we took a cab from the hotel lobby to the airport. The cab driver asked us if we wanted to stop by Tean Ean Local Products to buy some local produce on the way and we thought, "why not?"

(Located in George Town I think)

We managed to buy quite a lot of goodies to bring back home to Singapore! =)

We arrived just in time at the airport and thought we were going to miss the plane. But our Air Asia flight was delayed so we had more than enough time to eat and shop around some more!

She was bored while waiting so we had to buy this Barbie edible jewellery set for her to play with

We arrived safely back in Singapore and wished our trip was longer. We'll definitely be back again next year! =)

My Reflections:

I can understand the draw of beautiful Penang once we had touched down in this place. The food was great and the people are friendly. The houses were also old school, like Singapore used to be before all the high rise buildings were built (taller than the next one!).

Till next time... *waves*
