Port Dickson Day 1-3: Grand Lexis Port Dickson

DAY 1

We decided to do a short road trip to Port Dickson before I was due to give birth in Feb 2019. The hubby booked a room at the Grand Lexis Port Dickson, which came with our own private pool!

The villas that are on land and the common pool

As the resort is huge, guests usually queue to ride the buggy to and fro between the lobby and their rooms (you can call for the buggy to pick you up from your room to bring you to the lobby).

Enjoying our buggy ride!
Beautiful view of the resort on the sea as we drove by

The hubby had booked the Executive Pool Villa for S$296 per room per night via Agoda. The room came with two queen size beds and perfect for our family of 5.

Although the doors leading to the pool can be locked, you must still be vigilant and watch out for your kids no matter their age. Kids under 12 years old are still at risk of drowning in a matter of minutes if they are not supervised near water.

We also brought the kids to the public pool to check out the water playground.

However, the kids still preferred the private pool in our room!

Do take a walk around the resort as the views are very beautiful and made for many Instagram-worthy selfies!

We had dinner at a famous Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Port Dickson.

The soup was so yummy!

After dinner we went to a nearby Tesco as is our usual practice of roaming supermarkets when in Malaysia 😁

We found this Happy Land play arcade for the kids to have fun in before we went back

DAY 2-3

We had breakfast at the resort's restaurant. There were hits and misses, nothing much to rave about.

The kids spent majority of the time swimming in the private pool for the next two days! They had a blast!

When it was time to go back, the kids were so reluctant to leave! We stopped by JB for their haircuts and ice-cream before heading home.

Yummy ice-cream after a haircut

We will definitely be back to Port Dickson!
