Ever since our last visit to Sydney Fish Market in 2014, the hubby has been wanting to go back if we ever visit Sydney again. To get there, we had to travel through the Sydney Harbour Bridge! It was beautiful, but be prepared to pay hefty tolls to use it!
We arrived at Sydney Fish Market and parked at the carpark.
While the hubby hunted down the best seafood selections, the Eldest Girl and I looked for our favourite pastries.
We got yummy croissants from Blackwattle and bread from Gregory's Bread.
Meanwhile, the hubby and Mum-in-law ordered live lobster noodles from Nicholas Seafood!
We enjoyed our first breakfast in Australia! 😋 We left soon after we bought more seafood to bring home for our dinner. Our carpark fee was A$25 because we stayed longer than expected 😅
We headed next to the Direct Factory Outlet Homebush as we enjoyed the shopping there the last time we visited. Parking is free for the 1st 2 hours. However, we spent only about 1 hour here as the sales wasn't great.
Disappointed, we headed back to our apartment and spent time shopping at Westfield Chatswood, just opposite of our hotel. The best part about this mall is Target! Spent more than an hour shopping at Target alone! 😆
With our loots in our bags, we headed happily back to our apartment where the Mum-in-law cooked dinner with seafood we got from Sydney Fish Market that morning and other ingredients from Woolworths.
A fun day of feasting and shopping! 🤣
