Seoul II Day 8: Starfield COEX Mall & Library

We were taking it slower today as we head towards the end of our trip! My mum loves Paris Baguette so we headed there for breakfast (yet again).

After breakfast, we took the train to Samseong Station to visit Starfield COEX Mall. The last time we visited the mall and aquarium 10 years ago, it was known as COEX Mall.

The mall has since seen a facelift, fitted with state-of-the-art gigantic 3D digital display and home to the famous Starfield Library.

The moment we arrived, the Hubby spotted Who.A.U., where the Eldest Girl excitedly bought a winter jacket, sweater and winter boots. They were very value-for-money due to the shop's Black Friday sale!

We shopped at Butter next because it was so cute!

As we explored the mall, we realised many shops were having Black Friday sale! We bought winter clothes from Columbia and Champion and beauty products from Sephora at great prices!

We ended up with huge bags of shopping (cos' winter clothes are bulky)! 🛍️😅

Tired and hungry from shopping, we had lunch at Sariwon Bulgogi.

It was korean-style mookata, which was very delicious. We also added soups because we just can't get enough of them!

After lunch, obviously we had to take pictures at the beautiful and Instagramable Starfield Library, which was what we originally came to do.

There were a lot people doing the same, so after taking some photos, we headed outside to continue our exploration.

I also wanted to bring my K-POP crazy Eldest to check out KTOWN4U COEX and the K-POP Square.

The Eldest loved KTOWN4U and spent so much time there that we had to drag her to leave because the rest of the family were bored 😅

The kids had fun running around the large outdoor compound while I admired the large 3D screen.

We decided to head back to Myeongdong to continue with our shopping (yet again)!

After a disappointing BHC chicken experience 4 days ago, we had to redeem our experience! As usual, the Hubby had a good feeling about Kkanbu Chicken, just 3-minute walk from our hotel.

We had to wait for about 20 minutes for our food but it was worth the wait! The chicken was juicy, crisp and full of flavour! Just as we had hoped it would be! Definitely redeemed our experience! 😎

It was another great day! 😁

P.S: If you don't have as many days in Seoul as we did, you can consider combining this itinerary with Day 6 or Day 9.
